The RBDC enriches our community by providing a positive, inviting and supportive environment where men and women can experience the joy and beauty of ballroom dancing.
MISSION/PURPOSE
The RBDC is a non-profit club that provides a social atmosphere where interest in ballroom dancing is promoted through instruction and practice, and operates for the enjoyment and benefit of its members*.
GOALS
1. To promote interest in ballroom dancing within the community.
2. To create a social environment that encourages people to actively participate in ballroom dancing as a recreational and social activity.
OBJECTIVES
1. To provide affordable instruction at a variety of levels in social ballroom dance in a fun and relaxed environment.
2. To provide social opportunities through instruction and dance events.
3.To encourage communication and friendships with other ballroom dance groups with the community, and elsewhere.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
1. Recruitment and retention of members (reflected in numbers)
2. Members level of satisfaction with: Instruction; Dances being instructed; Scheduling of classes; Cost of membership; Dance Events; Facilities (locations) for instruction; Social environment of the club; and Operation of the club.
